JINNY GOULD

Jinny has been performing from a young age in all styles of Dance and Performing arts. She performed in a variety of dance shows, competitions and amateur musicals growing up in the Midlands area. After a year abroad living in Italy, she was accepted to Bird College and studied Professional Dance and Musical Theatre. Here she completed a 3 Year BA Degree and came away with 1st class Honours. Whilst training she took on lead roles in both ‘Bye Bye Birdie' and ‘Anything Goes’, took part in various new musical workshops and danced for ‘P!nk’ at the 2019 Brit Awards. She secured her first job just before graduating and went into Stephen Mear’s production of ‘Funny Girl’, playing Mrs O’Malley/ Ensemble Dancer that October, then during lockdown played Ensemble/ Featured dancer in the filmed version of a new Musical ‘Blonde: The Marilyn Monroe Musical’. After lockdown she went into ‘Top Hat’ at The Mill at Sonning where she played Ensemble/ Cover Dale which recently finished in January 2022.

She began teaching from the age of 13, assisting dance classes and later becoming a cover teacher for schools all over the Derbyshire Area for dance, drama and singing lessons. In September 2020 she began teaching at a variety of schools on a regular basis, teaching drama, dance and singing classes and thoroughly enjoys passing on her skills to the next generations.
